I thought I would make my own version of the milk box die holder from the new caddy. There is a story behind me making this set. I was contacted by a lady from Peru and she wanted to come to one of my classes and wanted Christmas ideas, so I thought this would be cute. She loved it and is coming back for more ideas next week.

Artistic Etching

Another card created for class tonight, love all the new product! I used the new stamp set call "Artistic Etching" and the new DSP called "Newsprint" the colors are "Cherry Cobbler" and "black card stock"also used card stock "vellum" the ribbon is black 1/8th taffeta.

I used marina mist ink, ribbon, and card stock, the stamp set is Just Believe and I also used some Frost White Ink with a sponge to make the back ground pop.

The color of this card is Old Olive and Pretty in Pink, I used the color coach to pick my colors. The background is the new Elegant Lines, and the pearls... well I just love the pearls.....

Friday Frenzy Sketch for July 16th

As you can see I have used tons of new product, lets start with the new DSP "Newsprint", then a new stamp set called"Word Play" I also used the new 1/8th taffeta ribbon in whisper white, dont know if you can see it but I used the new"distressing essentials kit" there is an ink called "tea stain", I used a sponge and tea stained the outside of the circle just so it would pop a bit more. Then of course whats a card without some bling, I used our new pearls, "love them".

Teachers Gift Box Instructions

Cut one piece measuring 7"x 7", score 1 1/2" and 2 1/2" on one side, and then each side 1" .

Cut the second piece mesuring 7" x 11" score 1 1/2" 2 1/2" 8 5/16" and then each side 1".

See picture for help.

Then I cut in slites, to fold together. Glue the 7 x7 piece on top of the 7" x 11" piece see photo.

Thank you for having me in your group, I have created this card using stamp sets I do not often see, the first one is "Animal Crackers" and the second one is" Starring You", I also used a rub on called "Laughter and Love". I used two new colors "Marina Mist and "Early Espresso". The ribbon is our "White Satin" ribbon and the new "Marina Mist 1/8" Taffeta Ribbon" from our Sneak Peak . It was simple put met the requirement of this sketch. Enjoy and please come back every Friday for a "Friday Frenzy Sketch". This is very serious, the colors that are retiring are in limited supply. Stampin Up! is trying very hard to full fill every ones orders and doing their best to keep everyone happy. Just want to make it clear that if there is a re-inker that you require, you need to order it now before supply runs out. The demand for card stock, re-inkers, and stamp pads has been four times greater than expected. They are doing their best to keep the promise of having these items until the end of May. Presto Patterns DSP and Elements of Style

I love both this DSP " Presto Patterns" and the new stamp set "Elements of Style" I used a brayer to get this effect on the DSP, pretty neat. As for the little "for you" that is one of our clear buttons with the for you stamp under it attached with a glue dot. The large flower is versa mark and black imbossing powder with a little dazzling diamonds

Scallop Sqaure Quilted Bag made with the Big Shot

I made this bag for my mother in law, she goes to the library weekly and I thought it would be a great book bag for her. I used magnets to close the bag, you can not see them, but they work great.

I was asked to put directions on how to make this card. Here it goes. Normal size card, choc chip is the card stock for the outside,then a layer of DSP from the sweet pea pkg, 4 x 5 1/4, I used the 5/16" brads in the corners, then the next layer is choc chip and measures 4"x 3 3/4", then bashful blue 3 3/4" x 3 1/4, then white 3 1/4 x 31/2 ran threw the Big shot using the plate that looks like wood, used daubers and creamy caramel, more mustard, really rust and choc chip, I then stamped out the tools coloured them in with blender pens and our crayons cut them out and used dimensionals to attached them.

Most of my club members have the big shot with the mover and shapers die. I actually started out by cutting out cards with each die and working from there.

New day , new cards, yesterday I taught a group of 10 little girls, what fun, the theme was Mothers Day, they made a scrapbook page in a box, a flower pot card and a pad of paper decorated to match the box, I will post some pictures as soon as I fugure out how.

I am so excited . Who knew I could have so much pleasure doing something I enjoy. I have only been Stampin’ up for few weeks and what fun. I can hardly wait until the new year to start a new chapter in my life, spending time with people I enjoy and teaching them new crafting techniques while creating memories. For those who know me, I have always had a flare for creativity. I also enjoy quilting and sewing and plan on doing alot more of both in the new year.
